The computer science department is a technology training department with programmes geared towards producing highly skilled manpower capable of managing information and communication technology (ICT) in a sustainable manner.  Because of wide applicability of the computing field, this department teaches the most important concepts in computing and its application while providing enough programming depth to enable understanding about how people work with computers.
